The Syrian Future Movement condemns the Syrian regime’s use of Palestinian factions as a tool to suppress revolutionary movements and public unrest within Syria.
The movement specifically denounces the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP-GC), led by Ahmad Jibril, who has become an enforcer for Bashar al-Assad’s regime within Palestinian camps in Damascus.
The Syrian Future Movement warns against the regime’s exploitation of Palestinian residents, especially those from camps, to sow division and conflict in neighborhoods that have long supported the Palestinian resistance.
It highlights that Ahmad Jibril’s involvement in oppressive acts within these camps will ultimately harm only those who engage in such behavior, and declares that individuals like him will have no place in Syria’s future.
Finally, the Syrian Future Movement calls upon rational voices within the Palestinian community to exert pressure on factions
supporting the Syrian regime.
