The Syrian Future Movement and International and External Relations (1)

We can almost say that the world today is divided at the level of states and groups into two main axes: an axis based on the idea of respect and mutual cooperation, and an axis whose entity is based on a background of civilizational and existential conflict. Between these two axes, the Syrian Future Movement stands in line with the first axis, considering it the human civilizational development that ensures safety and security for humanity, especially with the development of the spread of destructive weapons in human hands! Therefore, the Syrian Future Movement strives to strengthen the bonds of cooperation between nations and human societies, based on the principle of solidarity and integration, not conflict and discord.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that achieving internal national cohesion through the best implementation of the principle of citizenship is the correct way to face both internal and external challenges.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for relationships with all countries and peoples of the world, and bodies, institutions, and organizations, to be based on the foundation of respect, equivalence, and mutual support, to achieve cooperation and integration, and to affirm human brotherhood and civilizational integration.

The Syrian Future Movement is against aggression towards others, intervention in the national affairs of others, and the imposition of political, economic, cultural, or religious dominance under any pretext and for any reason.

The Syrian Future Movement sees the necessity of betting on the United Nations and working on its reform, to achieve its pivotal role in supervision and implementation of the principles it was established for.

The Syrian Future Movement sees the necessity of reforming the Security Council in particular, to act as a regulator of human conflict, preventing its expansion, and to truly represent continents and civilizations. We particularly call for reforming what is known as the veto right, which has come to confiscate the democracy of the United Nations General Assembly!

The Syrian Future Movement calls for the necessity of reviewing and interpreting many agreements and treaties that were drafted under certain international circumstances, to be acceptable to peoples based on justice and the achievement of common interests at any time and place.

The Syrian Future Movement is concerned with preserving the Syrian citizen’s right to the water resources of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and the necessity of taking the necessary measures for this.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for establishing a sustainable good neighborliness relationship, strengthening ties, removing obstacles, and resolving disputes, for the creation of a balanced and sustainable regional security.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for attention to strategic technical, technological, and industrial development as a basis for various industries, and to focus on solar energy, to meet diverse needs, as it assists national security on one hand, and ensures the stability of the population in their country, preventing the migration of Syrians from their homeland, and threatening the state of peace, security, and international balance.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for the restructuring of the Syrian armed forces in personnel, weaponry, and combat doctrine to be dedicated to national defense, protection, and deterrence against any external military movement.

The Syrian Future Movement believes that the Palestinian issue requires ongoing efforts to end the continuing and escalating suffering, and considers it a primary cause of instability in the region as a whole. We reject the idea of (establishing) a Palestinian state! It already exists fundamentally, but we call for empowering, supporting, and advancing it, and for Jerusalem to be its capital, with guaranteed right of return for all Palestinians.

The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes the necessity for the Arab League, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, and the Jerusalem Committee to take care of the efforts to solve the Palestinian issue.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for correcting the current course of the Arab League, to achieve the goals for which it was established, to be inclusive for all, to unify ranks, to prevent disputes, and to manage differences in a way that ensures the safety and security of states, and the stability of peoples.

The Syrian Future Movement invites both the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation to open their doors to researchers, thinkers, and scholars to be a source of revitalizing, refreshing, and influencing peoples.

The Syrian Future Movement supports the right of all peoples in the world for liberation and independence by all possible and legitimate means in their resistance, the right of peoples to determine their destiny, and supports peoples in their revolution for freedom, democracy, a decent life, and resistance against injustice and tyranny.

The Syrian Future Movement calls for cooperation with the countries of the world to preserve the environment and protect the planet from destruction.

The Syrian Future Movement seeks to work with others to clear the Middle East region of weapons of mass destruction, chemical weapons, and invites all countries to join the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons, and to enhance the peaceful use of nuclear energy.
