A Call from the Syrian Future Movement to the Lebanese Future Movement on the Anniversary of Martyr President Rafik Hariri

The Syrian Future Movement
These days, our people in the Lebanese Republic are marking a painful anniversary and a momentous event that brings back memories of the criminal acts carried out — and still practiced — by the Syrian custodial regime during its direct presence in Lebanon. Throughout that time, it attempted to destroy human values, fueled sectarian strife, supported and extended Iranian influence through its favored child, “Hezbollah,” and funded Sunni groups at the expense of other Sunni groups. The last chapter of these crimes was the assassination of the pinnacle of the Sunni leadership in Lebanon, represented by the martyr President Rafik Hariri.

1. Shares in the grief and sorrow of all the honorable Lebanese in general and the members of the Lebanese Future Movement in particular.
2. Stands with you in the quest for uncovering the truth, holding the killers accountable, and exacting justice.
3. Affirms that the same killer of our people in Syria today is the one who assassinated the martyr President Rafik Hariri yesterday.
4. Clearly states that the Syrian Future Movement has no material, organizational, or cooperative ties with the Lebanese Future Movement on any level, but holds a relationship of love and respect.
