The Syrian Future Movement and Public Freedoms

The Syrian Future Movement works to solidify the Universal Declaration of Human Rights issued by the United Nations in 1948, which concerns the right to practice public freedoms for all individuals, without discrimination based on gender, color, race, or cultural affiliation, and supports distinguishing this declaration between civil rights, such as the right to equality and non-exposure to torture or arbitrary arrest, rights to mobility and settlement, family rights, and political rights, such as the freedom of expression and the right to union, party, and association membership.
The Syrian Future Movement believes in the relativity of freedoms in terms of location, time, or state intervention in normal or exceptional circumstances, or in terms of the importance between types of freedoms, or in terms of individual orientations that distinguish between individual and collective freedom, considering that a balance is required between all these aspects, with no domination of individual freedom over collective freedom or vice versa.
