An overview of the “FEE TAWAD’DHIM” campaign, Iftar for fasting individuals, Ramadan 2024 as part of the “FEE TAWAD’DHIM” campaign.
Over the past years, the Syrian Future Movement has achieved multiple accomplishments in relief work, meeting the needs of our Syrian people at home.
These efforts peaked during the last Ramadan of 2024 AD, corresponding to 1445 AH.
Here, we highlight the most significant achievements:
First: The “FER TAWAD’DHM” campaign for Iftar, launched and sponsored by the Syrian Future Movement throughout the last Ramadan, provided over 10,000 Iftar meals over thirty days.
This initiative specifically targeted orphans, children of martyrs, widows, and displaced persons, distributing main meals, dates, daily bread, and healthy drinks for all family members.
The total expenditure for the “FEE TAWAD’DHM” campaign exceeded $43,000.
Additionally, several communal Iftar events were held in various areas in northern Syria, including:
- A public Iftar organized by the Syrian Future Movement’s volunteer team for more than 350 university students in the cities of Mare and Al-Bab.
Two Iftar banquets attended by dozens of guests at the Syrian Future Movement’s office in Azaz, north of Aleppo. - A Ramadan evening in Afrin, which included a communal Iftar for hundreds of survivors of Assad regime detention centers.
- An Iftar banquet for 100 orphaned students and those who had dropped out of school at the Bakri Mosque in Afrin, Aleppo countryside.
The Syrian Future Movement provided 150 Iftar meals, distributed by the Supreme Islamic Council in Afrin.
Forty-five Iftar meals were given to students of the Noor Al-Islam Institute in Afrin.
The Syrian Future Movement’s volunteer team also distributed water and dates to people on the streets of A’azaz during the Maghrib call to prayer on several days.
Moreover, the Syrian Future Movement dedicated the distribution of Iftar meals through the “FEE TAWAD’DHM” campaign to students of the “Togetherness Educational Schools” series in northern Syria throughout the last Ramadan.
Additionally, Dr. Zaher Baadrani, the president of the Syrian Future Movement, hosted an Iftar banquet at the headquarters of the Islamic Charity Association’s orphanage for 190 orphans.
He personally attended the event, which included the distribution of Eid clothing and additional gifts.
Furthermore, the Syrian Future Movement’s relief office provided cash assistance to dozens of affected and needy families in northern Syria and various cities and provinces, along with daily cash prizes during Ramadan through a competition program launched by the movement’s media office on its official platforms.
I wish you all the best every year, and may you always be well.
