Regarding the UN General Assembly’s decision on the membership of the State of Palestine

The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) welcomes the adoption by the UN General Assembly, today Friday 10-5-2024, of a resolution affirming the right of the State of Palestine to full membership in the United Nations.

The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) sees the vote of 143 countries in favor of the resolution as an indication that the global conscience is still alive and can be saved, and that the bet on solving international problems is still viable.

The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) bets on a fair and just role for the United Nations in achieving international peace and security, and the necessity of activating its role to consolidate the principles of human rights.
