Completion of the “Body Language” Training.
The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) completed a new training titled “Body Language” in the seventh month of 2024.
☆ The training targeted 20 university students, both male and female, with a total of 18 training hours spread over 6 days.
☆ The aim and purpose of the training: to build the capacities of Syrian youth in body language and to equip them with skills to analyze and interpret body movements, postures, expressions, and facial gestures.
☆ Type of training: Physical, with trainees present at the Syrian Future Movement (SFM) office in A‘azaz, northern Aleppo, where they learned the following skills:
- The concept of body language
- Theoretical framework
- Non-verbal behaviors of the feet
- Non-verbal behaviors of the torso, hips, chest, and shoulders
- Non-verbal behaviors of the arms and hands
- Head and facial expressions
- The language of touch and personal space
- Negotiation and meeting postures
- The meanings of handshakes
The training concluded on the sixth day, achieving its objectives. A survey was conducted to evaluate the training, covering the venue, the scientific material, and the trainer. The results were positive, with each trainee providing feedback on a form that included the positives and negatives of the training and the challenges it faced. The trainees requested more specialized training sessions in the same context.
