Congratulations on Independence Day in America
The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) extends its congratulations to the American people of all backgrounds on America’s Independence Day, which corresponds to this day, July 4, 1776.
The Syrian Future Movement (SFM), after (248) years of American independence, finds that there is an urgent need for radical reviews in the U.S. policy concerning its global role in supporting international law, promoting human rights, and endorsing the independence and freedom of the world’s peoples.
The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) looks to a more effective and serious role from the United States in helping and supporting the Syrian people to achieve their honorable and true independence, leading to the establishment of a free and just national state. This state would end all foreign occupations and close the chapter on Assad’s regime, intelligence rule, and corruption.
The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) finds it dangerous for America to leave the world to forces with expansive religious agendas, such as Iran and Russia, and financial agendas, like China.
This abandonment could lead to the world’s regression toward oppressive states, undermining human rights laws, and reinforcing the authority of corruption, injustice, and tyranny, thereby increasing the suffering of peoples through wars and migrations.
The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) calls on the United States to reassess its global role and overcome past negatives, including its stance on the Palestinian cause, and to support national liberation movements worldwide.
The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) believes that America’s retreat into isolation would weaken it and diminish freedom globally, favoring the expansion of totalitarian and oppressive states.
