Dr. Zaher Baadarani, the president of the Syrian Future Movement (SFM), along with his accompanying delegation, visited the headquarters of the University of Aleppo in the liberated areas in the city of Azaz. They were received by the president of the University of Aleppo in the liberated areas, Mr. A.D. Ahmad Bakar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Later, the Vice President of the University for Administrative Affairs and Student Affairs, former Minister, Professor Dr. Imad Barq, and the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Professor Dr. Majed Aliwi, joined the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of the Syrian Future Movement spoke about the civilizational and scientific importance of the University of Aleppo in the liberated areas, describing it as a leading civilizational and scientific landmark. He stated that the university’s success today is one of the achievements of the Syrian revolution. The President of the Movement emphasized the necessity of recognizing the university students’ degrees so that they can take pride in their knowledge and learning.
This recognition would support them in their future professional and academic lives.
He suggested that as a first step, the Syrian Future Movement should communicate with the International University Federation and its President, Dr. Mohamed Khair Al-Ghabani, to explore the possibility of opening doors and building scientific bridges that could benefit the university, its faculty, and students, laying the groundwork for a new and fruitful phase.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The discussion also covered the university’s development over the past years, the potential for coordination and joint cooperation in networking with Arab and international universities, and an overview of the major challenges facing the university.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of the Syrian Future Movement presented a copy of the congratulatory book issued by the Syrian Future Movement on the occasion of Dr. Ahmed Bakar assuming the presidency of the University of Aleppo in the liberated areas. Then, the President of the Syrian Future Movement awarded the Syrian Future Movement’s shield to the University of Aleppo in the liberated areas, in recognition and appreciation of its merit as a free Syrian university. This honor acknowledged the university’s leading and distinguished role in serving science and scholars, and graduating thousands of students, both male and female, with degrees in various specializations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Ahmad Bakar, the President of the University of Aleppo in the liberated areas, accompanied by Professor Dr. Imad Barq, took Dr. Zaher Baadarani, the President of the Syrian Future Movement, and his accompanying delegation on a tour of some of the university’s important facilities, including the university’s large auditorium.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The President of the Syrian Future Movement also visited the impressive student graduation projects exhibition held at the University of Aleppo in the liberated areas.
This exhibition was organized in collaboration with the Free Syrian Students Union and the Identity of the Country Center. He was accompanied by the University President and several administrators and faculty members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mr. Ahmad Bakar, the President of the University of Aleppo in the liberated areas, along with his Vice President, Professor Dr. Imad Barq, and the Dean of the Faculty of Sharia, Professor Dr. Majed Aliwi, bid farewell to Dr. Zaher Baadarani, the President of the Syrian Future Movement, at the entrance of the university’s administrative building. Accompanying them were Mr. Abdullah Zaeen, the Director of the Office of the President of the Syrian Future Movement, Mr. Iyad Hamdi, the General Coordinator for the Syrian Future Movement’s programs in Northern Syria, and Mr. Munir Kartal, a member of the Syrian Future Movement and the director of the Turkish organization Sham Kolou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
