The Syrian Future Movement is following with great interest and appreciation the announcement of the “Syrian Cybersecurity Summit 2026,” hosted by the National Information Technology Services Authority, in cooperation with the Syrian Scientific Society for Informatics and the international company Consensus, and under the auspices of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, from August 23 to 27, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
While we support this significant step, which embodies Syria’s return to the map of international technology events, we see it as a renewed message of confidence in the capabilities of Syrian personnel, a strategic investment in building cybersecurity capabilities, and a realization of the “New Syria” vision based on secure digital transformation and sustainable development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First: The Syrian Future Movement commends the organization of this summit and praises the efforts exerted by the National Information Technology Services Authority and the organizing bodies to achieve this important event, considering it a practical step towards strengthening national cybersecurity and raising the level of preparedness to confront escalating cyber threats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This summit, with the participation of over 500 experts and specialists from Syria, the Arab world, and internationally, is a landmark event reflecting the growing interest in the cybersecurity sector in Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We also welcome the summit’s program, which includes more than 37 hours of dialogue sessions and workshops addressing pivotal issues such as cybersecurity laws, artificial intelligence, responding to cyber threats and attacks, and the security of industrial systems, human resources, and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
