Syrian student Ola Yassin Aloush graduated with highest honors in Interior Architecture from Istanbul Geli\u015fim University in Turkey, achieving a GPA of 3.59 out of 4.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ola was born on January 2, 2002, and is originally from Daraa. She lived with her family in Damascus before being forced to leave the country at the age of eight, after the outbreak of war and her father’s defection from the ranks of the ousted regime’s army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The family settled in Irbid, Jordan, where Ola spent about eight years, completing her primary and secondary education. She then enrolled to study pharmacy at Philadelphia University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But after a year, she realized that this field didn’t align with her artistic inclinations and true passion, so she began searching for a specialization that reflected her creative personality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2021, she moved to Turkey for family reunification and dedicated her time during the COVID-19 pandemic to learning Turkish independently, benefiting from the support of her siblings. She then embarked on a new journey studying interior architecture, influenced by her mother who instilled in her a love of the arts from a young age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Syrian Future Movement recognizes more than just academic success in this story; it is living proof that Syrians, wherever they may be, carry with them the genes of creativity and determination, and a unique ability to transform adversity into platforms for excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We see in stories like this conclusive evidence that Syria’s true wealth lies not in its land, but in the minds of its people and the energies of its youth, wherever they may be.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
From this perspective, the Syrian Future Movement affirms that restoring Syria’s leading role in the region and the world begins with a serious investment in education and scientific research, and creating an attractive environment for Syrian talent abroad to return and contribute to building their homeland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Individual successes, when combined and directed, transform into a collective driving force capable of rebuilding a new Syria on the foundations of science, knowledge, and innovation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
