The Syrian Future Movement is following with great interest the announcement of the signing of a partnership agreement between the Syrian Automotive Manufacturing Company (SCAI), a subsidiary of the sovereign wealth fund, and Yutong, a leading Chinese bus manufacturer, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, to establish a modern vehicle manufacturing plant in Syria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We also noted the statement by the Syrian company’s CEO, Walid Sahari, that this partnership represents a significant foundational step towards building a modern vehicle industry and shifting from importing and limited assembly to localizing industry and technology, thus contributing to the creation of sustainable national added value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The agreement includes the establishment of production lines, knowledge transfer, and the training of local talent at various stages of the manufacturing process, from engineering and manufacturing to quality control, production management, and after-sales services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
