This occasion dates back to May 20, 1875, the day the International Metre Convention was signed in Paris by representatives of seventeen countries, laying the foundation for the International System of Units (SI).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The intrinsic value of metrology is not limited to scientific laboratories; it is the cornerstone of fair trade, cross-border economic exchange, and ensuring the security and safety of societies. No civilizational expansion or stable economy can be built without a unified, transparent, and reliable standard language that governs transactions and eliminates arbitrariness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We in the Syrian Future Movement view this occasion as a strategic starting point for assessing the reality of Syrian institutions during the current transitional phase and outlining the features of a future Syria based on institutional governance and its integration with the civilized international community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We believe that transitioning Syria from the chaos of war and improvisation to the stability of a modern state requires confronting the structural realities and figures documented in the latest UN and international reports issued for 2026:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Syrian Future Movement believes that rebuilding society and integrating it into its regional and international environment cannot succeed through promises and haphazard plans. Rather, it requires adopting “global standards” as a rigorous methodology for management and development.
