The Syrian Future Movement welcomes the inauguration of the new Al-Masrab water station by the General Establishment for Drinking Water in Deir ez-Zor on Monday, March 30, 2026, in cooperation with the local community in the town of Al-Masrab in the Deir ez-Zor countryside. This station is expected to provide clean drinking water to approximately 20,000 people after the completion of the distribution network extensions within the town. The local community undertook the construction work, while the Establishment carried out the mechanical and electrical work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement believes it is essential to develop a sustainable maintenance and operation plan for the Al-Masrab station, with a sufficient annual budget to guarantee its uninterrupted operation. Furthermore, it advocates expanding the partnership with local communities to include other water projects in rural Deir ez-Zor and affected areas, while ensuring the participation of youth and women in project management committees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Syrian Future Movement believes in the importance of linking water projects to plans for the safe and dignified return of displaced persons, and considers water provision a fundamental condition for restoring stability in the eastern regions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
