The Political Bureau of the Syrian Future Movement has followed with deep concern the recent attempts to introduce the six-pointed star (the Star of David) into the logos of some emerging national companies in the post-liberation period.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These attempts, while justified by formal additions or minor modifications to the star’s shape, or by inserting letters and symbols within it, remain, at their core, a direct invocation of the symbol used in the flag of the State of Israel, which poses major problems at the national, political, and cultural levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The danger of these practices lies in:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
    \n
  1. Their impact on the collective Syrian consciousness, as it is easy for ordinary people and the general public to be deceived by the use of this symbol through commercial or marketing media, which leaves a negative impact on the collective mind and opens the door to forms of indirect symbolic normalization.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. The conferment of false legitimacy, as the appearance of such logos on institutions bearing official approval from new government agencies places the nascent national covenant in a position of suspicion, as if it endorses or supports this symbol, even though the situation is completely different.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. The repercussions on the intellectual structure of Syrian youth. Leniency in promoting these symbols could lead to a confusion of meanings and a distortion of the consciousness of younger generations, weakening the resilience of national identity and undermining its symbolic and cultural framework.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The Political Bureau of the Syrian Future Movement warns against the consequences of marketing or promoting the six-pointed star in any form, whether overt, covert, or modified. It emphasizes that any attempt to use it within Syria must be met with legal, societal, and media rejection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The Syrian Future Movement also calls on the relevant authorities in the new Syrian government to:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
      \n
    • Conduct a thorough review of all trademarks and logos before their official approval.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Prohibit the registration of any logo bearing the six-pointed star or its derivatives, regardless of how its appearance is manipulated.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Launch popular awareness campaigns to protect the collective mind from such symbolic intrusions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      The new Syria, liberated through the sacrifices of its people, will not allow the promotion of symbols used to distort national memory or introduce alien cultures that seek to normalize awareness before reality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      Finally, we ask, where is the role of the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) Office, which has been active and effective in Syria for decades?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      We, in the Syrian Future Movement, will remain vigilant against anything that harms the nation’s identity and symbols, to preserve the authenticity of the revolution and to honor the blood of the martyrs.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
