The Syrian Future Movement extends its sincere congratulations and blessings to Christian believers in Syria and around the world on the occasion of the Feast of the Holy Cross, which carries within it great meanings of sacrifice and redemption and embodies renewed hope for a future of justice and peace. The Feast of the Holy Cross is a spiritual and human milestone that reminds us of the strength of faith in the face of adversity and the ability to persevere in the pursuit of truth. In light of the circumstances facing Syria today, we recall the symbolism of this feast as a beacon that inspires us all\u2014Christians and Muslims, Arabs and Kurds\u2014to continue on the path toward a free and dignified homeland. Syria has turned a dark page in its history with the fall of the tyrannical regime last December. We now stand on the threshold of a new phase with the imminent creation of a legislative institution, which we hope will mark the true beginning of rebuilding the state on the foundations of citizenship, justice, and effective political participation. At this critical moment, we affirm that national unity is the only way to overcome the current challenges, from the repeated Israeli attacks on our cities, to the growing international concern over the chemical weapons issue, to the internal problems in al-Jazeera and al-Suwayda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Syrian Future Movement sees this occasion as an opportunity to promote the values \u200b\u200bof coexistence and tolerance, and calls for a comprehensive national dialogue that excludes no one and places Syria’s interests above all else. We also believe that building a new Syria can only be achieved through a true partnership between all its components, without discrimination or exclusion, drawing inspiration from the message of the Cross and the values \u200b\u200bof patience, forgiveness, and steadfastness in principles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It believes that peace begins from within, from the hearts of Syrians that beat with hope and from their free will to shape their future.
