This is particularly true with the participation of approximately 800 local and international companies, and the signing of investment agreements worth up to $14 billion in vital sectors such as infrastructure and energy. We also believe that these partnerships, which include countries such as Turkey and Saudi Arabia, represent a real opportunity for reconstruction and job creation, enhancing economic stability and restoring Syria to its regional position as a commercial and cultural center.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Syrian Future Movement emphasizes the need for this fair to be part of a comprehensive and balanced process for Syrian advancement, free from any form of superficial propaganda or political exploitation. We also share the concerns expressed by some observers about the lack of transparency in the implementation of the agreements and the ongoing security tensions that could hinder internal and external confidence. The Syrian economy continues to suffer from the legacy of previous tyranny, including corruption and internal conflicts.
