Syrian Future Movement He recalls that in Assad’s Syria, torture was not an individual policy, but a doctrine rooted in the structure of the repressive regime, practiced unchecked inside security branches and detention centers, and dedicated to silencing mouths and breaking wills. Today, with the birth of a Syria free from Assad’s tyranny, we realize that the future of the country is not built on forgetting, but on recognition and justice. <\/p>\n\n
Syrian Future Movement He believes that post-liberation Syria needs justice for reparation rather than revenge, which restores the dignity and safety of victims and transforms dark places into beacons of memory and lesson, making it important to establish national mechanisms to document violations, bring perpetrators before impartial courts, and allow victims to tell their stories freely and with dignity. <\/p>\n\n
Syrian Future Movement On this day, he declares his commitment that the next Syria will be a state free of torture, rejecting repression and enshrining dignity as an inviolable right, as the future Syria will be built on justice, where free speech will be protected, and where people will be respected and not terrorized. <\/p>\n\n
