The scenes of celebration accompanying this return, in the presence of Archbishop Hanna Jallouf, the Apostolic Vicar of the Latin Church, and the return of families to their properties, remind us of Syria\u2019s ability to overcome its wounds when the dignity of its people is preserved and their fundamental human rights are respected. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The property restitution measures initiated by the Syrian government, although positive in this context, remain part of the state’s responsibility to compensate victims and ensure transitional justice, rather than an isolated initiative aimed at international gains without a genuine commitment to resolving the broader displacement crisis. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement affirms that a safe and dignified return for all Syrians can only be achieved within a comprehensive political framework that establishes real security and rebuilds state institutions based on equal citizenship.
