The Syrian Future Movement is deeply concerned about the announcement of the establishment of the Egyptian January 25 Revolutionaries Movement on Syrian soil, as published on Ahmed Hamad Mansour’s account on the “X” platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement rejects any form of provocation against Syria’s neighboring countries and emphasizes the significant difference between personal stances and official positions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement commends the new Syrian administration in Damascus for arresting Ahmed Hamad Mansour, whose movement could pose significant risks to the emerging Syrian regime.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement firmly rejects the extradition of any individual to their home country if it endangers their life or violates human rights laws, such as the United Nations Convention Against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman, or Degrading Treatment or Punishment (1984), General Assembly Resolution 39\/46, the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (1966), General Assembly Resolution 2200A (XXI), and the principle of non-refoulement, which is enshrined in numerous international conventions and recognized as part of customary international law.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement supports the right of peoples to self-determination and backs all peaceful movements expressing their positions. However, it rejects both the use of violence and the exploitation of Syrian territory as a base for conflict with neighboring and regional countries.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
