The United Nations General Assembly designated November 25 as the “International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women” (Resolution 54\/134) to raise awareness about the scale of problems women face worldwide, such as rape, domestic violence, and other forms of violence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement supports the UN’s efforts to empower women and achieve gender equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement calls for overcoming violence in all twelve critical areas of concern outlined in the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
