The Syrian Future Movement\u2026
These days mark a painful memory and a grave event for our people in the Lebanese Republic. It brings back the criminal practices adopted and implemented\u2014still ongoing\u2014by the Syrian tutelage regime during its direct presence in Lebanon. This regime sought to destroy human values, ignite sectarian strife, bolster Iranian influence through its favored child, “Hezbollah,” and fund Sunni groups at the expense of other Sunni groups. The final chapter of its crimes was the assassination of the Sunni leadership in Lebanon, embodied by the martyr President Rafic Hariri.
