On this day in 2013: <\/strong>A number of Syrian opposition parties, groups, and political movements announced the formation of the “Coalition of Political Forces and Parties in Syria.” It includes 17 political parties and movements, the most prominent of which are the Islamic Dawn Movement, the Islamic Development Movement, the Freedom and Justice Party, the Free Syrian Democratic Party, the Democratic Revolutionary Coalition, and the Youth Union of the Revolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
