The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) supports the declaration related to the protection of all individuals from enforced disappearance in all its forms, which was adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in its Resolution 47\/133 dated 18 December 1992, as a set of principles applicable to all states.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) rejects enforced disappearance, whether through the arrest and detention of individuals and their subsequent disappearance, their abduction against their will, or any deprivation of their liberty in any manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) supports everything stipulated in the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court, which entered into force on 1 July 2002, and the International Convention for the Protection of All Persons from Enforced Disappearance, adopted by the General Assembly on 20 December 2006, which states that “enforced disappearance” constitutes a crime against humanity when committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack on any civilian population and is not subject to a statute of limitations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
