The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) has completed a new training titled “English Level 1” in May 2024. \u2606 The training targeted a number of teachers and university students, totaling 15 male and female trainees, with a duration of 18 hours spread over 6 days. \u2606 The goal of the training is to build the capabilities of Syrian youth in the field of English. \u2606 Type of training: In-person attendance, where trainees gathered at the SFM office in A’azaz, north of Aleppo, and learned the following skills:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Letters and sounds<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Basic words and phrases<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Simple sentences<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Forming questions and answers<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Basic grammar<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Pronunciation, reading, and writing \u2606 The training modules were distributed over the days as follows: || Day One: Introduction to the English alphabet and types of letters in English. || Day Two: Most commonly used words and phrases. || Day Three: How to construct simple sentences and identify parts of speech. || Day Four: Forming questions and answers in the following tenses:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Simple present and simple past<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Present continuous and past continuous<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Present perfect and past perfect \/\/ Day Five:<\/li>\n\n\n\n
Basic rules for pronunciation, writing, and reading<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
\u2606 The training evolved to enable trainees to critique previously handled cases, pointing out errors and difficulties to avoid them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The training concluded on the sixth day and achieved its objectives through a survey conducted among the trainees to evaluate the training: Location – Academic material – Trainer\u2026 The results were positive, and the trainees expressed that the evaluation method was highly professional, with each trainee writing their assessment on a form that included the positives and negatives of the training and the challenges they faced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n\n\n\n<\/figure>\n<\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
