- His activity began to spread widely in the governorate due to the cultural, political and social dimension of his personality.
- Al-Mulla sang many revolutionary songs and popular songs on several occasions, most notably “The Geneva Bus” and “No March and No Support”.
- He used his comedic style to produce critical passages and songs that mimic the Syrian political and social reality.
- He has produced and hosted art programs such as “This Is All That” and “3 Stars Revolution”.
- He was last shown an episode of “Revolution 3 Stars” titled “Islamic Caliphate and Civil State” before he was kidnapped by ISIS members from his home in the Masaken Hanano neighborhood of Aleppo city on November 07, 2013.
- Al-Mulla’s arrest raised concerns for all activists and media professionals in Aleppo, as the incident was seen as a threat to anyone who criticizes the behavior of the Islamic State, which has begun to spread in northern Syria.
- Many local Syrian organizations denounced Abdel Wahab’s celebration and demanded that his fate, which is still unknown, be revealed.
