Regarding the Renewal of Temporary Residences and Work Permits for Syrians in USA

The U.S. Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, has announced the renewal of temporary residences and work permits for Syrians who have obtained them, residing in the United States once again for a period of 18 months, starting from April 1. The number of beneficiaries from this decision is 6,200 Syrians.

The Syrian Future Movement (SFM) expresses its appreciation for the efforts of the Free Syrian, which were behind the push for this decision, including the Syrian-American Consultative Meeting.

The Syrian Future Movement thanks the United States for this important decision, which alleviates the suffering of some of our people in the forced journey of refuge due to the tyranny of the Assad regime and its security grip.

The Syrian Future Movement looks forward to and expects a more effective role from the United States, resulting in a humanitarian aspect that is almost missing in the Syrian file, and hopes for more decisions in favor of the Syrian people both inside and outside America.

The Syrian Future Movement calls on the United States, as a leader of the civilized world, to open doors for scholarships for Syrians in areas outside the control of the Syrian regime and to facilitate their study in the United States to become a beneficial addition to their homeland in the Syrian future.

The Syrian Future Movement appeals to the United States to study mechanisms for official recognition of the degrees of university students in liberated Syrian areas, especially Aleppo University in the liberated areas.

The Syrian Future Movement urges the United States to issue contributions to the resettlement of willing Syrians who are opponents and wanted by the Syrian regime, through the political asylum program.

The Syrian Future Movement still views the United States as a friendly and allied nation to the Syrian people, a matter that should be translated into actions rather than just words and official positions!
