Statement Condemning the Death of a Syrian Child Due to the Negligence of Turkish Gendarmerie in Providing Treatment
The Syrian Future Movement is following the increasing reports of improper treatment of Syrians within certain Turkish institutions, especially prisons and temporary detention centers.
The Syrian Future Movement holds the Turkish government responsible for the increase in these cases, which have spread due to the rise and spread of racist rhetoric, with a complete inability of all political elites to confront it.
The Syrian Future Movement is sounding the alarm about the unjust Turkish treatment of some Syrian cases, with the absence of fair Turkish justice in dealing with these cases and any racist transgressions.
The Syrian Future Movement still believes in the existence of Turkish leaders who believe in human and Islamic brotherhood, and human rights, and calls on them to study the current reality in order to correct the course before it is too late.
The Syrian Future Movement sees these transgressions as damaging to Turkey’s reputation and its important and distinguished position, and that their spread harms Turkey’s reputation and standing in the hearts of Arabs and Muslims.
The Syrian Future Movement is awaiting a real Turkish decision to review its treatment of Syrians, which if delayed, will have more damaging consequences than its immediate benefits.
The Syrian Future Movement is ready to offer all its capabilities within the plans of the Turkish leadership to repair the negatives and overcome them, and to cooperate with all those who are sincere for the present and future of Turkey and Syria to advance our countries towards the ranks of civilized and advanced nations.
The Syrian Future Movement offers its condolences to the family of the child Mohammed Khaled Sheikh Ahmed, “15 years old”, from the town of Kafr Amim in the eastern countryside of Idlib, who died inside one of the Turkish detention centers near the Bulgarian border due to cold and the refusal of the Turkish border guards to provide the necessary first aid to him, and it will take all necessary legal and media steps to convey their voice and to stop the aggression against Syrians everywhere.
