17 days are enough for the fall of al-Assad in As-Suwayda

Coinciding with the painful anniversary that took the lives of the victims of the Suweida bombings, and the loss of 35 figures from the “Men of Dignity” in Suweida on 2015/09/04, amid chants and ululations of pride on yesterday Monday 2023/09/04, the image of the great idol “Hafez Al-Assad” was removed from the government building in the Dignity Square in the heart of Suweida city during a massive public demonstration.

With the dawn of the third week of national demonstrations in Suweida, the protesters confirmed the failure of all calls betting on time to extinguish the demand for a rule of law and institutions and to topple the sick lair of the Assad regime. The elders and youth of Suweida have proven that Arabism, nationalism, reason, and wisdom are firmly etched on the peaks of the Jebel Al Arab. Suweida of Sultan Pasha Al-Atrash is a place of timeless miracles, and Suweida of the “Bani Ma’roof” is genuinely noble enough to thwart every malicious bet.

The words of the father of the martyr, the free defecting lieutenant “Khaldoun Zain Al-Deen”, added to the speech of the first assistant in the police force, is a new bet today on the strength and resilience of our free men and women in Suweida. They continue in the name of every free Syrian, on behalf of the living and the martyrs combined, until our legitimate demands, which we have called for since 2011 to the present, are met.

We, in the Syrian Future Movement, while we support our people in Suweida and mourn the Men of Dignity we lost on the path to freedom, stress the need for the following:

• We pledge to the families of all Syrian martyrs to continue on the path to freedom until our goals are achieved.
• The need to continue the movement of our people in Suweida, and consider it a purely Syrian national movement.
• In conjunction with the Suweida movement, there must be coordination for similar national movements in other areas inside and outside Syria.
• The need to connect and communicate with our people in the Syrian coast and the city of Salamiyah to achieve the desired benefit from the movement in Suweida.
• Confront any malicious project that accuses the movement of separatism, or gives it a sectarian tint, etc.
• The need to support the movement of our people in Suweida in every possible way.

We, in the Syrian Future Movement, affirm that we are part of the movement of our people in Suweida, and our relationship with the elders and notables of Suweida continues.
The latest was yesterday with their direct communication with the head of the Syrian Future Movement, requesting him to communicate with our Christian compatriots in Suweida to be part of the general public movement. This is to unify the Syrian national scene, as stated in the article published on our website and on our official pages on 2023/08/29 titled: “A Shining Hope and a Kindle Flame / Unity of Path and Destiny” .
