The Syrian Future Movement signs the statement issued by the Syrian Democratic National Forces regarding the latest developments on the Syrian scene.
The Syrian Democratic National Forces held an exceptional meeting via Zoom on 2024/12/02, attended by numerous parties, currents, and political forces, as well as independents from our people. The discussion revolved around the recent developments in the Syrian arena, the field victories in the liberated Syrian areas, and a consensus was reached to issue a preliminary statement in the name of all participants.
Statement Text:
In the face of harsh challenges that have spanned years, during which our people have suffered from the absence of an effective national product capable of implementing the path of democratic national change, the will and determination of Syrians remain the driving force toward reclaiming their rights and achieving their aspirations.
Today, with the increasing toll of patience paid by our people in blood, destruction, and suffering, the revolutionaries prove their ability to regain initiative, clearly announcing that achieving the goals of the revolution and the demands of the people has become the only option, far from procrastination and solutions imposed by external forces indifferent to Syrian interests.
The liberation of strategic areas such as Aleppo, Idlib, Saraqib, Ma’arat, northern rural Hama, and Tell Rifaat has marked a pivotal turning point. These victories have disrupted the Syrian regime and its allies both militarily and politically, forcing active international powers to reconsider their positions and negligence toward our just cause.
We, the Syrian Democratic National Forces, emphasize the necessity of translating these achievements into integrated political and field steps and supporting productive coordination between military and political efforts, as demonstrated in the operations “Dawn of Freedom” and “Deterring Aggression,” to ensure sustainable victories, culminating in the ultimate goal of overthrowing the authoritarian regime and building a new Syria.
While we congratulate our people on liberating their lands and the return of the displaced to their homes after years of absence, we stress the importance of focusing on achieving the ultimate victory and directing energies to complete this path.
We also celebrate the release of detainees, a significant national step that the opposition structures at the forefront of the representational scene—whether in the Coalition, the Negotiation Committee, or the manufactured platforms—have failed to achieve, even to the extent of releasing a single detainee. This reflects the strength of revolutionary field action.
We call on all Syrians to actively participate in shaping the future of our country and pledge that our energies and cadres will remain at the service of the revolution and its heroes.
We also commend the civilized and ethical conduct exhibited by the revolutionaries in the liberated areas, reflecting the image of the unified and independent Syria we aspire to.
The victories we achieve today are not the end of the road but the beginning of the path to the complete liberation of Syria, culminating in building a state of citizenship, freedom, and democracy—a state of justice and law we dream of.
Glory and eternity to our righteous martyrs, a speedy recovery to our wounded, and freedom to all our detainees.
Long live Syria, free and proud.
The Syrian Democratic National Forces
